Our Identity

We are a group of imperfect people who serve a perfect God. None of us are perfect, which is precisely why we need God in our life and why we need Jesus as our Savior.

We don’t have all the answers, but we believe that God’s word, the Bible, does. As Christians, we try to the best of our ability to live our lives in obedience to God’s word.

Our Beliefs

We believe that there is a God, that Jesus is His Son, and that the Bible is His word.

We believe that we are saved by grace and through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).

We believe that, by grace, God offers the opportunity of salvation to all people by having sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross, in our place, as the atoning sacrifice for our sins (John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21).

We believe that, through faith, we receive God’s free gift of salvation by following God’s plan of salvation and hearing the gospel (Romans 10:17), believing that Jesus is the Son of God (John 8:24), confessing our belief (Romans 10:9-10), repenting of our sins (Luke 13:3-5), and being immersed in water (Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16).

Finally, we believe that after we have been saved by grace and through faith, we need to remain faithful in obedience to the Lord. The Lord himself said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (John 14:15).
